Vaccine Philosphy

We believe that all children should receive the recommended vaccines according to the guidelines provided by the AAP and the CDC.  Vaccines are safe and effective in preventing diseases and health complications in children and young adults.  Regular vaccinations help children ward off infections, and are administered as one of the safest and best methods of disease prevention.

We are willing to discuss your concerns about vaccines at your child's well visit and will consider alternate vaccine schedules that still meet AAP guidelines.  We will not agree to any alternative schedule that puts your child or other patients at increased risk of contracting a vaccine-preventable disease.  In addition, we are no longer accepting new patients that refuse vaccines.

Late Appointments

Please plan to arrive at our office at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.  If you arrive after your appointment time, you may be asked to reschedule.  Providers will do their best to see you if possible but the time lost from a 15 minute appointment may be too significant and we do not want to rush your visit.  We understand that occasionally something unexpected may delay you and ask that you contact our office as soon as possible in that case.

Cancellations/No Shows

24 hour notice is required for cancellations so that we can best accomodate our other patients.  Failure to cancel within 24 hours or no show will result in a $45 fee.  Cancellation or no show for same day sick appointments will also be billed a $45 fee.

For more details on our financial and privacy policies see new patient paperwork.  These policies are also included each time you register electronically for your appointment.
